Beales Brewing of Bedford Virginia contacted Southern Northern after we had worked with their sister company Trapezium on their product line at Camp Trapezium. They were looking to synchronize their existing flagship lineup.
Starting with their new Hazy label, we began creating a system across all of their labels that allows for consistency across all of their products.
Over the years Beales’ brand has had many hands in the design kitchen resulting in similar, but inconsistent packaging that was beginning to create challenges when expanding with new product offerings. Southern Northern in the past had worked with Camp Trapezium, Beales’ sister brewery, to create different lines for their products that use synchronized brand elements and illustrations.
We decided the best route forward would be to create a easy to update system across their flagship lineup. Starting with Hazy, we built out color options and placement across all of the products. Once a system was established we were able to bring in the new session, stout and oktoberfest labels. We even dressed up the Beales bear in his very own lederhosen and hat.
